Today, Sunday, February 9, the Varsity Boys Basketball team took on Albertus Magnus at home. Seniors Jon Heier, Kevin Wolff, and Javan Robinson were honored before the game. Briarcliff’s senior cheerleaders, Lili Yurch, Olivia Gelard, Denise Haxhia, Haley Muratore, Julia Bloom, Katie Powers and Lauren Rubich were celebrated at half time. The game was competitive early, but the Bears were unable to keep up in the second half. The Bears fell to the Falcons by a final score of 52-69. The Varsity Cheerleading team celebrated senior day after coming in 4th place at the 3rd Annual Indian Rumble at Ketcham High School on Saturday! This was the first time the Varsity Cheerleading team has placed in a competition! Congratulations to the Seniors and their families!
