I Got My Mind on My Pizza

Briarcliff is a town of abundance. Although it lacks a good Chinese restaurant, it has easy access to four frozen yogurt places and countless pizza places. In fact, it may be overwhelming to decide where to get a slice. Some of the popular pizzerias in the Briarcliff area include Euro Pizza, Paese, Dom & Vinnie’s, Capri, Ossining Pizzeria, Lucios, Pleasantville Pizzeria, and Jerry’s Brick Oven Pizza. Superstorm Sandy

On October 29, 2012 Briarcliff Manor saw one of the most destructive storms in history. Sandy had multiple nicknames well before the storm made landfall including the perfect storm, the beginning of the end of the world, and the controversial Frankenstorm. The true culprit behind the storm’s destruction was wind. While there was heavy flooding in coastal towns in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, the northern areas received the brute force of the wind. While there was a lot of destruction due to tree damage in Briarcliff, fortunately there were no deaths.

What Happened to Parking?

Among other changes that occurred over the summer, the BHS parking lot was completely revamped. There are now clear lines dividing the spaces, so it’s harder for someone to park over the line and get away with it. Many people could not read the spot numbers last year, which led to confusion and people parking in the wrong places. The spot numbers have been repainted in bright white.
